About Amy M. Reade
Do you love mysteries?
Then you're in the right place!
Amy M. Reade started her career practicing law in New York City, but it wasn't long before she realized it was much more fun writing fiction than legal documents. It took her a while, but she finally decided to polish up the manuscript she had been working on and send it out.
That manuscript became her first standalone book, Secrets of Hallstead House. From there she went on to write two more standalone Gothics, then along came Malice, a contemporary Gothic series set in the United Kingdom.
After the Gothics, Amy started a cozy series, the Juniper Junction Holiday Mystery series. She's currently working on book 6 of that series.
Writing under the name A.M. Reade, she also writes historical mysteries and is currently working on book 2 in the Cape May Historical Mystery Collection.
Amy lives in New Jersey with her family, just a few miles from the Atlantic Ocean. She loves to travel, cook, and read, though not necessarily in that order. She also loves wine and music: you'll find wine recommendations on this website from her latest favorites, as well as playlists to go along with her books. You'll find them in the drop-down menu under "Home."
